In 1983, the SynDeck marine series was developed by the EPMAR company, specifically for the manufacture and repair of military, commercial and offshore vessels. Since it was first approved by the Navy in 1989, Syndeck liners and primary deck coatings have been designated as standards for many military and commercial ships and have received global approval. Since then, we have successfully expanded to provide services on internal deck issues for the ferry, cruise, offshore, workboat and inland watercraft markets.

SynDeck system's proven history, performance and reliability

Our products pass strict performance and safety standards, including: fire, smoke, corrosion and water resistance, and can create IMO, ABS or MIL-SPEC approved systems, such as:

RediDeck can be used in all aisles, cabins and deck areas, but it is very suitable as a deck leveling or resin screed system for final deck coverings that may require waterproofing and light weight, such as carpets, ceramics, VCT and EPMD rubber sheets and tiles.

SynDeck Terrazzo is a complete system from the deck up, used in all wet areas, such as heads, showers, servers and passages, which may require ultra-light, seamless 100% solid epoxy performance.

It has been used in the Navy for more than 20 years and has been designated for ultra-light but waterproof and easy-to-maintain deck coverings.

It can be used as a standalone system directly applied to the deck, providing some deck leveling without the need for liners. You can also use it as part of the NuFlexDeck system, where a higher level of deck leveling is required.

When weight is as important as performance

The shipbuilding and ship repair industries are paying great attention to the efficiency brought about by ultra-light materials. The SynDeck ultra-lightweight pad system provides you with the highest performance with the lightest weight possible, weighing less than 1 pound. Install ¼ inch per square foot. SynDeck ultra-lightweight gaskets provide excellent corrosion resistance, flat irregularities, grades and contours, are non-porous and completely waterproof. Let us show you how to reduce weight without losing performance. Use cost savings (based on materials plus maintenance costs) can be significant.
